The context:

The VOYOGER project aims to encourage young people to develop their understanding of environmental and climate change issues through specific training materials, so that they can take voluntary action on environmental issues.

The objectives:

The VOYOGER project will train innovators, youth workers and youth leaders to become true agents of change and volunteers in the field of the environment and climate change. It will also provide digital tools and applications for social development, environmental protection and the fight against climate change.

In addition, VOYOGER aims to promote volunteering and active citizenship among young people through volunteering and solidarity actions rooted in their daily lives and their willingness to adopt or change their attitudes in favor of an environmentally-friendly lifestyle.

The results:

– Digital Toolbox: Training on the environment and climate change – Green Education in the Digital Toolbox is an accessible and comprehensive tool that can be adapted in terms of content and according to the target audience. The toolbox is based on an innovative methodology for educating and training young people aged 15 to 30, youth workers and youth leaders, young volunteers including European Solidarity Corps volunteers, environmental educators, members of environmental and youth organizations.

– Mobile application: The application will include numerous learning modules featuring hands-on activities and challenges aimed at changing behavior towards more sustainable actions.

– Volunteer program for young people:  The creation of a volunteer program will become a source of encouragement for young people not only to take action to protect the environment, but also to actively combat climate change.
