Pistes-Solidaires is a youth NGO active at the European level whose main objective is giving access to European and global mobility to all young people (volunteering, youth exchanges, training courses, internships). These projects aim to develop the knowledge, social skills, know-how and community participation of its participants.

The association was born out of an ambition: to raise awareness of global issues and show the potential for change; to enable people to understand the links between their own lives and those of people around the world.

In addition, Pistes-Solidaires implements European cooperation projects to develop innovations in the field of youth work and promotes European Citizenship among the citizens in its daily activities.

A.C.T.O.R.’s Mission: To develop the human potential of its beneficiaries (children, youngsters and adults) through their involvement, participation and volunteer work. Alter Ego Ngo is a volunteer organization based in Northern Greece, Thessaloniki. It specializes in fields such as art, culture, environmental issues, social inclusion, and promoting and supporting human rights… Many projects are conducted on both a formal and informal basis, and through these educational projects and activities the organization hopes to motivate young people and encourage them to be more active, be better informed, and participate in European programs. Thanks to the nature of our work, the organisation is able to engage with a diverse group of young people, all of whom have different characteristics and ideals.

Dynamo International is an NGO from French speaking Belgium that supports young people aged 13-25. This includes helping the young people to create their projects abroad, e.g. through youth exchanges, ESC, working holidays etc. They also carry out youth-exchange projects on topics such as active citizenship and migration. As well as speaking in schools on various topics, they lead group activities with young people in Brussels (cooking workshops, visits to refugee centres, cycling tours, etc.).  Dynamo also welcomes foreign ESC volunteers each year, which promotes cultural exhanges.

Fekete Sereg’s duty is to represent the interest of youth living in the village at regional, national and international levels. The target groups of their association are diverse: students, the unemployed, minorities (roma), disadvantaged and handicapped people etc. Their mission is to give the youth of the village the option to spend their free time by doing useful activities, and to support bottom-up initiatives of the youth living in the village.

Gulbene Municipality is the local authority. Gulbene municipality has experience in the preparation and implementation of different “international”, “infrastructure” and “human resources” projects, starting with educational, social, cultural exchange and voluntary work projects, and ending with object reconstruction projects. Part of GM is the Education Department (ED) that is responsible for education. ED coordinates the work of municipal education, provides methodical support, plans the development of the institutions’ network, and coordinates the necessary trainings for specialists. ED works with local NGOs and local voluntary work development programs.
