Beyond Barriers Association is looking for motivated volunteers (18–30 y/o from an EU country) to join their local and international projects in Tirana!
THE HOST ORGANISATION
Beyond Barriers (BBA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation founded in 2004 in Tirana by a group of young activists. Its mission is to empower Albanian youth by promoting inclusion, equal opportunities, active participation, and better quality of life — especially for young people with fewer opportunities.
BBA works on building a more inclusive society for current and future generations.
Their motto: “We believe in what we do!”
ACTIVITIES OF THE VOLUNTEER
Volunteers will be involved in a variety of activities. They will help organise cultural and educational events, and lead workshops using virtual reality technology to promote digital skills.
They will support French language and culture classes for young people, by helping prepare and deliver engaging sessions.
Volunteers will also take part in inclusive activities for people with intellectual disabilities, such as sports, music therapy, games, and group workshops.
Finally, they will contribute to the creation of social media content and support the implementation of intercultural and community-based projects.
