Tbilisi Youth Centers Union is looking for volunteers to support youth activities in Ponichala and other centers across the city.
THE HOST ORGANISATION
Tbilisi Youth Centers Union (TYCU) is a municipal youth organisation created in 2009 by the Tbilisi City Hall. It is the only city-level structure dedicated to youth work in the Georgian capital. Its main goal is to create learning and engagement opportunities for young people, helping them develop skills and participate in social, economic and political life in Georgia.
ACTIVITIES OF THE VOLUNTEER
Volunteers will assist in various youth activities run by the organisation. They will help organise and take part in cultural events, festivals, and sports tournaments held throughout the year.
They will promote volunteering and encourage active youth participation at local and international levels.
Volunteers will offer educational and leisure activities in the Ponichala Youth Center, such as art workshops, theatre sessions, language classes, CV writing, IT courses, movie nights and debates.
During summer, they will take part in outdoor activities such as summer camps and bike tours.
Volunteers will also be encouraged to propose and manage their own youth-oriented initiatives, such as sports events, excursions, or games.
They will support the communication team by writing content for the website, newsletter, blog, and social media platforms.
