Pistes Solidaires is looking for 4 creative and committed volunteers to promote inclusion and youth empowerment in Albania!

THE HOST ORGANISATION

Beyond Barriers Association (BBA) is a youth organisation based in Tirana, Albania. Since 2004, it has been working to foster inclusion, equal opportunities and active participation for all young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds (young people with disabilities, from Roma or LGBTQ+ communities, etc.). BBA runs local, national and international projects in civic education, community development, culture, sports and creativity. It also acts as the SALTO SEE contact point for Erasmus+ and ESC programmes in Albania. Since 2006, BBA has hosted over 300 European volunteers.

ACTIVITIES OF THE VOLUNTEER

The “Youth Club Collaboration at the Multifunctional Center” project takes place in Saranda. Volunteers will co-create and lead activities with local youth clubs (Youth4Youth, Sports4Inclusion, Youth4Community). They will organise interactive workshops and non-formal education sessions on topics like leadership, sustainability and cultural diversity. They will support inclusive events, sports activities, community clean-ups, and develop creative digital campaigns (e.g. podcasts, storytelling). They will also collaborate with schools and local partners to expand the centre’s outreach.
