Pistes Solidaires is looking for volunteers to help inform and educate the local community about opportunities offered by the EU.
THE HOST ORGANISATION
Pistes-Solidaires is an organisation working in the field of mobility and EU projects since 2002.
In 2013, the organisation received the label of “Europe Direct Centre“, meaning that it is certified by the European Commission with the mission to inform, animate and advise on European policies, programs, countries, etc. This work is done using new technologies, but also through conferences, thematic days, or specific events at local and regional levels.
ACTIVITIES OF THE VOLUNTEER
The activities of the volunteer will be to assist the coordinator of the EDIC to inform about opportunities offered by Europe at the local level, animate workshops about Europe for children and young people (schools, leisure centers), keep the documentation updated, participate in website updates and communication, or develop tools for non-formal education activities or events. He/She will also participate in training sessions on Europe for young French volunteers. During the month of May, the month of Europe, he/she will contribute to the organisation and the promotion of several events related to Europe and its cultural diversity.
