The Erasmus+ Training Course “Innovative Video Tutorial Engineering” is a dynamic and engaging program designed to equip 16 youth workers and youth leaders with the essential skills and knowledge to operate the power of video tutorials as a means of non- formal education for young people. In today’s digital age, video content has become an essential key of communication and learning, making this course a valuable resource for those working with youth.
THE VENUE
The training course will take place in Lefkada Island, also called Lefkas. It is the fourth largest island of the Ionian Islands, after Zakynthos, Kefalonia and Corfu. It has an area of 303 square kilometers, a coastline of 117 kilometers and a population of about 23.000 inhabitants. Lefkada is an island with wide traditions and it is situated 378 km from Athens. COURSE COMPONENTS
- Video tutorial creation: Youth workers will learn how to create impactful video tutorials, from planning and scripting to filming and editing, focusing on content that suits the needs and interests of young learners, including those with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Non-formal education methods: Participants will explore innovative methods designed to engage and motivate young people, with a dynamic learning experience.
- Technology integration: The course introduces participants to user-friendly video editing tools, animation software, and online platforms, enabling them to create interactive video tutorials.
- Legal and ethical considerations: The course addresses legal and ethical aspects, such as copyright, privacy, and responsible content creation, to ensure the production of videos that are both informative, educational and responsible.
- Cross-cultural Exchange: This course offers a unique opportunity for youth workers from various countries to collaborate, share experiences, and enrich their perspectives through cultural exchange.
Upon completion of this training course, youth workers will be equipped with the skills to
use video tutorial engineering as a potent tool for non-formal education. They will be
able to create engaging and informative video content targeting young people,
helping them acquire new skills, knowledge, and perspectives
PROFILE OF THE PARTICIPANT
1. Youth workers, educators, teachers.
2. Project managers, coordinators, in field of youth and adult education.
3. Youth leaders who implemented at least one local or European educational project.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Each participant is responsible for his/her insurance. Please bring your European Health
Card - 100 % of accommodation, basic food and activities are covered by the Erasmus+programme.
- The travel cost is covered up to the amount covered by the Erasmus+ programme, based on the distance grant support for Erasmus+ mobility.
- Participation fee for the training course is 50€.
