Cazalla Intercultural is looking for a volunteer to work with young people between 13 and 25 years old.

THE HOST ORGANISATION

The SOLARIC project is implemented through a collaboration between IOA (Bulgaria), Uganda Pioneers Association (UPA), and Cazalla Intercultural (Spain). The project supports local schools and vocational centres in the suburbs of Kampala, working with children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds. It promotes inclusion, learning, and community participation through diverse educational and cultural initiatives.

ACTIVITIES OF THE VOLUNTEER

Volunteers will be involved in a variety of community-based actions depending on their skills and interests. Tasks may include supporting formal and non-formal education in schools, leading arts, music and sports activities, assisting in vocational training (carpentry, entrepreneurship, performing arts), engaging in environmental conservation and urban gardening, and co-creating activities with local teachers, trainers and youth workers.
