Gulbene Municipality is looking for 2 to 4 volunteers to work with kids aged 2-7 years in rural kindergartens around Gulbene
THE HOST ORGANISATION
The placement is coordinated by the Municipality of Gulbene, located in Latvia, in a rural area.
ACTIVITIES OF THE VOLUNTEER
Duties and tasks of the volunteers
– Organize different activities in kindergarten
– Help teachers in kindergarten daily life
– Work with local communities in villages
– Work with local public institutions, youth centers, schools, cultural centers.
You are expected to be:
– An explorer, ready to work with kids
– A supporter for teaching staff in kindergartens
– A friend for a local community
– Full of ideas for different activities
– Ready to learn and adapt
What is offered:
– Work according to volunteer’s abilities and skills
– Community of other volunteers (in Gulbene we have 8 – 10 volunteers)
– Accommodation in Gulbene town. Apartments with all stuff needed for living
– Pocket money according to the ESC guide, catering allowance 210 EUR
– Professional support for activities
– Payment for local transport
