A.C.T.O.R. is looking for 10 volunteers to participate in the project “Health Common Good” (HCG). In the context of the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for populations that were already fragile, HCG intends to create new structured and targeted opportunities for young people to continue to express solidarity towards the most fragile members of society.
THE HOST ORGANISATION
A.C.T.O.R. has existed since 2002.The Organisation promotes European Solidarity initiatives through voluntary work. It works mainly in the clinical animation field and delivers nonformal sessions and workshops to kids in Bucharest and its surroundings.
ACTIVITIES OF THE VOLUNTEER
The main task will be to create animation activities for children as well as adults with physical and mental disabilities. These activities include:
- Puppet or shadow theater performances
- Musical or dance moments
- Origami
- Balloons
- Crafts
- Painting
- Movement
PROFILE OF THE VOLUNTEER
- 18-30 years old from any EU country
- Interest in artistic activities (theater, music, origami, painting, etc.)
- Positive energy and responsible approach to work
- Good teamworking skills
- Ability to deal with stress and problem – solving attitiude
